- Review and assess each insurance payer contract in preparation for onsite training
- Provide onsite contract management training to for 2-3 employees to include, but not limited to:
- Review and discuss each insurance payer contract and its contractual components
- Provider vs. Payer Responsibilities and Obligations-Provide education on payer provider partnership building
- Revenue Cycle Implications and Modeling
- Payer Contracting and its relationships and obligations as it relates to internal customers
- Payer Contracting and Credentialing (facility vs. Individual) and the correlation between Contracting and Credentialing
- Provide contract negotiation training
- Develop negotiation communications and submit to insurance payers
- Review Third Party Payer Contract Management Training Manual
- Other deliverables throughout the engagement may be discussed and negotiated
